I have most of the code ready for an iOS app, but at this point I am no longer interested in releasing it. It needs to run in the background to function correctly, and Apple only allows certain categories of apps to do this, and only to certain degrees. My app was not granted an exception, and on top of that, there are other platform restrictions that make such software difficult to run.

Ultimately Apple does not want these kinds of third party automation apps on their platform, and that's why it was never released.
